Hammonton, NJ is a town of just under 15,000 people. The town is a unique place filled with caring people who are committed to making the town a great place to live. It's surprising to see how much need there is in the town. While there are many organizations that exist to help those in need, there is a still a void. Hammonton Helps is a charitable organization whose purpose is to provide temporary help to the needy including food, clothing, temporary shelter and financial assistance while serving as a liaison with other organizations who can provide the additional short term and/or long term care and assistance that may be necessary. How Hammonton Helps Began:

Rev. Kathy Chiovitt had a desire to help the homeless and the needy in Hammonton. She organized a Town Hall Meeting with the support of the Hammonton Ministerium.
