History
Rev. Kathy Chiovitt had a desire to help the homeless and the needy in Hammonton. She organized a Town Hall Meeting with the support of the Hammonton Ministerium. The first Town Hall Meeting was held on December 7, 2007.

Hammonton Helps, Inc. next applied for Federal tax-exempt status and was approved as a 501c3 tax exempt non-profit organization on November 20, 2011.
